positive attitudes towards social life and studies has been provided.
Community services, such as blood donation, ‘red-packet’ donation and
donation for the disaster of Nepal earthquake have been organized.
Students have learnt to share with others and serve our community.
B. A serious of tailor made training and workshops have been organized for
the school prefects. In which, guidance about teamwork development,
sense of belongings, social skills, problem solving skills towards
management and students’ matters has been provided.
C. The prefect cadets have displayed their potential in doing work like the
daily temperature checking, reception in school activities and some of the
miscellaneous work in the prefect team. They were strongly dedicated to
the job.
5. Talks for students
A. Talks on topics like correct use of Internet, responsibility of being a
family member have been arranged.
B. Special talks and workshops have been delivered by guest speakers or
professional institutions, with the aims of enhancing students’
perseverance and confidence. Topics include media influences, bullying,
drug abuse, sex education, emotion management, anti-smoking and
anti-gambling. To instill the correct morale values and responsibilities
into students, guidelines on suggested moral topics for teacher sharing in
the morning assemblies have been provided.
6. Equipping parents
Parent-child Day Camp, S.1 Parents Orientation Day and three parents
talks have been organized. They aim at promoting the co-operation
between school and parents and equip parents to educate their children.
7. Social service
The programme of the Counselling Social Services Team has been well
developed. Through activities like adventure camp and war game, team
spirit has been developed and interpersonal social skills have been trained.
Through providing social services and life experience activities, like taking
a day trip and visiting families in Tai O, students have learnt to serve others
and understand our society from different aspects.
8. Special care for students
A. S.1 Orientation Day and ‘The Big-Brothers & Sisters Scheme’ have been
run smoothly. All S.1 students have been put under the care of the
counselling perfects, with the aim of helping them to build up good
habits and positive attitudes towards life.
B. Special guidance, with emphasis on appropriate attitudes towards studies
