To promote a culture of diversity and excellence, the Government has launched the Multi-faceted Excellence Scholarship to fully fund university degrees. Each year, a total of 40 local students with outstanding achievements in sports, arts, social service, etc. are selected. Tse Hang Yi has outstanding achievements in the field of arts. She has been enrolled in studying Chinese in CUHK. The tuition fees for her bachelor degree program is fully paid by the scholarship.

由沙田青年聯會主辦之「沙田區傑出學生選舉」，旨在表揚優秀學生；鼓勵學校營造良好學風，提高學術水平；培養中學生領導能力、自信心、正確人生觀及價值觀；培養學生的社會責任感 、發揮團隊精神等。陳同學通過多重遴選、競賽及面試，在眾沙田區學生中脫穎而出，獲選十大傑出學生。
