Twenty Form 3 to 4 students participated in the Japan Arts and Cultural Study Tour during the summer vacation, which took place from July 14 to 18. While in Japan, the students engaged in exciting activities, such as TeamLab and art museums. A major highlight of the trip was their visit to Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, where they interacted with local students. By communicating with them and exploring the music college, the students had an immersive experience of Japanese culture and lifestyle. Below, you can find video clips, photos, and reflections from the participants, showcasing their unforgettable journey.
Student reflection (Wong Man Chi)
I feel like the art in Tokyo is not only the ones displayed in the museums— the place itself is also another form of art. The scenery, the nature and life over there has an unseen, obscure, and unique charm that I will ever only feel over there. Everything in Tokyo simply makes me notice the small things that I usually overlook in life; It kind of awakens the love for life within one’s mind, in an unexplainable, but majestic way. ‘Fun’ is a word to describe the trip. However, I’d much prefer ‘eye-opening’.
