Organised by Shatin Youth Assoication, Shatin Outstanding Students Awards aims to honour students' academic excellence, encourage young leaders to achieve their full potential, to demonstrate appreciation for their contributions to the youth community and to nurture future generations. To promote a culture of diversity and excellence, the Government has launched the Multi-faceted Excellence Scholarship to fully fund university degrees. Each year, a total of 40 local students with outstanding achievements in sports, arts, social service, etc. are selected. Ng Cheuk Nam Anson has outstanding achievements in the field of sports. He has been enrolled in studying IBBA in CUHK. The tuition fees for his bachelor degree program is fully paid by the scholarship.

In 2023-2024, 4B Wong Kai Ming have been successfully selected to represent Pentecostal Lam Hon Kwong School in the UNICEF Young Envoys Program. After half a year of training, they will become the newest generation of young envoys, leading to advocate for the Convention on the Rights of the Child and speaking up for children.
