Good News! Congratulations to our student Liu Guangchen (6A) for winning the Outstanding Delegate Award in the Global Stock Pitch Competition, organized by the Young Investors Society!

Before advancing to the national competition, participants must rank in the top 50% of their regional contests. In the South China regional competition, Liu Guangchen achieved first place, securing the Regional Gold Award and earning his spot in the national competition.

At the national competition, the difficulty level was significantly higher. Nevertheless, Liu Guangchen traveled to Suzhou alone for a five-day event, competing in three different challenges. His impressive performance ultimately earned him the national Gold Medal, placing him among the top 15% of the team.

Competition Highlights:

1. Simulated Stock Market: Participants invested in a simulated online stock trading system with the goal of maximizing return on investment.
2. Written Test: A comprehensive assessment of financial knowledge.
3. Investment Analysis: Competitors selected a stock based on specific criteria and themes, writing a detailed analysis report of at least 1500 words.

They then presented their findings in English, limited to 10 minutes, including a three-minute Q&A session. Once again, congratulations to Liu Guangchen for this remarkable achievement!
