From May 18 to May 22, our school hosted the English Academic Week, a much-anticipated week that takes English language learning beyond the classroom. The program helped students discover the joy of using the language in creative, authentic ways while strengthening their English skills. A variety of activities filled the week, with most of them led by students. Highlights included the Junior and Senior Form Language Arts Assemblies, Jackbox Games, the Inter-house Reading Booth Contest, a Debate Workshop, the Dr Dog Visit, LaC Corner, Meet the Authors, Song Dedication with English songs, Students’ Book Sharing, Dungeons and Dragons, SAC Speed Reading and the Magic Show.
