Pentecostal Lam Hon Kwong School Library Renovation Fundraising Campaign

Dear Alumni,

The library is an indispensable piece of our secondary school memories—a place that holds the echoes of countless afternoons spent immersed in study and the joy of discovering new worlds of knowledge.

The Need for Change: From a "Book Archive" to a "Learning Hub"

As times change and e-learning becomes universal, the library facilities at our alma mater, which have served us for many years, are showing their age. With worn bookshelves and outdated furniture, the traditional layout no longer meets the needs of modern group discussions and digital learning.

To enhance the reading and self-learning environment for our younger brothers and sisters, the school plans to fully renovate the library. By redesigning the space and adding multimedia learning zones and cozy reading corners, we aim to upgrade it into a modern "Learning Hub."

Every Contribution Counts: Honoring Our Roots

The total cost of the renovation is estimated at HK$1.3 million. The school has allocated HK$1 million from its internal reserves and hopes to raise the remaining HK$300,000 through the generous support of our alumni.

Fundraising Period: March 14, 2026 – May 1, 2026.

To express our gratitude for your support, donors who contribute HK$10,000 or more will have their names engraved on an elegant metal plaque. These plaques will be mounted on the new bookshelves within the library, ensuring that your kindness remains a permanent part of the school’s literary legacy, inspiring generations of PLHKS students to come.
